When will the deposit be applied and returned?

What do I get for my money?

A shaded sitting area with a cooler and drinks will be available for your comfort. A swing-arm stand to support your bike will also be available.
How does Bike Sharing Work?
Plan A: Two riders in the same class split the day rental cost of $275.00 and alternate at their discretion the use of the bike. Both renters must make a bike deposit. Only the "offender" will be liable and if the bike is put out of
commission due to excessive damage, then both riders are done for the day. No Refunds.
Plan B: Two riders of different classes share the same bike for a $25.00 savings or $250.00 each and alternate the use of the bike. Only the "offender" will be liable and if the bike is put out of
commission due to excessive damage, then both riders are done for the day. No Refunds.
What if I've never been on a track before?
Can I still rent a bike? - Yes, but you must also sign up with one of the two riding schools at the same event.
What about riding gear?
You must wear appropriate riding gear and each event organizer (LSTD & RideSmart) have rules and regulations regarding riding gear. But plan on a full face helmet (no flip-ups), leathers or textile gear, boots and gloves.
What should I bring to the track?
Snacks, beverages, lunch, chair, cooling-type undergarments to make gear removal easier.
What about medical insurance?
Check with your carrier to ensure that you're covered, if not write your congressman.
What class should I be riding in?
If you don't have much track time or none at all, you should be in the novice class. If you've been in the novice class and find yourself passing riders easily, it's time to step up to the intermediate class.
What if it rains?
All events run rain or shine.
What's your cancellation policy?
You may re-schedule for another event within six (6) months and receive credit at that time.
